Denver Colorado Tourist Information and Travel Guide

The city of Denver Colorado is sometimes called the Mile-high city. Situated east of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Denver features many landmarks, tourist attractions, museums and art galleries. The Colorado State Capital Building is one of several major landmarks in the city.
	Denver residents enjoy attending pro sport games, playing golf and hiking in nearby parks and gardens. There are many good hotels and motels in downtown Denver and near the Denver Airport. Some skiers and boarders enjoy spending a day or two in the city before hitting the mountain slopes.
Many tourists arrive in Denver by car or by train. The Denver International Airport welcomes visitors from the USA, Canada and abroad. Although an extensive public transit system operates in the Denver, most tourists prefer renting a car at the Denver Airport on arrival.
